Shanghai Shipping Exchange ("SSE") recently announced that the Shanghai (Export) Containerized Freight Index based on Settled Rates ("SCFIS") (EUR Service) published by SSE has undergone independent assurance by a well-known global third-party auditing firm regarding its compliance with the PRA Principles during the period from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025. The auditing firm issued an unqualified assurance report on May 31, 2025.

　　The full name of the PRA Principles is the Principles for Price Reporting Agencies, developed by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).The PRA Principles set globally recognized benchmarks for price reporting agencies, governing key areas such as governance frameworks, internal controls, index quality, and conflict-of-interest management. IOSCO’s mandate to establish internationally accepted regulatory standards ensures robust, reliable, and transparent mechanisms for price index compilation.

　　On August 18, 2023, the Containerized Freight Index (Europe Service) Futures Contract, with SCFIS (EUR Service) as the underlying trading index, was listed for trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange. To better meet the development needs of index futures trading, SSE has established an annual mechanism for independent assurance by third-party auditing firms.
