| HMM's Asia-North Europe Rates to Jump on July 1 |
| Jun.07--Hyundai Merchant Marine will boost rates on its trade from Asia to North Europe, effective July 1. The hike will be $1,000 per 20-foot-equivalent unit and $2,000 per 40-foot-equivalent unit, the container line said. Maersk Line, CMA CGM, Mediterranean Shipping Co., Hapag-Lloyd, OOCL and United Arab Shipping Co. have also planned Asia-to-North Europe rate hikes for July 1, despite recent declining rates in the trade lane.
