| CMA CGM to Boost Asia-North Europe Rates |
| Jun.07--Starting July 1, CMA CGM will raise rates in its trade from Asia to North Europe. The increase will be $775 per 20-foot-equivalent unit for dry, out-of-gauge, paying empties, breakbulk and refrigerated cargo, the container line said. Maersk Line, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mediterranean Shipping Co., Hapag-Lloyd, OOCL and United Arab Shipping Co. have also scheduled Asia-to-North Europe rate hikes for July 1, despite recent declining rates in the trade lane.
